Competition Rules & Eligibility

Who Can Enter
  • Young adults ages 17–25 who are pursuing education, entrepreneurship, ministry, or purpose-driven work.

​

  • Students enrolled in college, trade school, or ministry programs with a minimum GPA of 2.6 (for scholarship consideration).

​

  • Aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives, and innovators with a clear vision, idea, or project they are working to develop.

How to Enter
  • Complete the official Purpose Over Pressureâ„¢ Competition application online.​
Submission Requirements
  • Business or project overview

​

  • Business plan or concept document

​

  • 3–6 month financial projection (if applicable)

​

  • Description of community impact or purpose

​

  • Accepted Project Categories include:
        •    Business startups
        •    Nonprofit initiatives
        •    Ministry programs
        •    Social impact projects
        •    Creative ventures

Judging Criteria
  • Purpose & Vision — Clarity of the applicant’s mission, passion, and long term impact.

​

  • Innovation & Creativity — Originality of the idea, project, or business concept.

​

  • Impact & Potential — The ability of the idea or initiative to positively influence communities or industries.

​

  • Preparation & Presentation — Quality of the video submission, essay, and supporting materials.

​

  • Leadership & Character — Demonstrated integrity, initiative, and commitment to personal growth and service.

  • Registration Opens: March 25, 2026.

  • Deadline for Entries: May 1, 2026.

​

  • Top 10 Finalists Announcement May 10, 2026.

​

  • POP Competition Concert & Awards: May 22, 2026.

Disqualification & Conduct
  • Applicants must provide accurate and truthful information. Any false or misleading submissions may result in immediate disqualification.

​

  • Participants must maintain respectful and professional conduct throughout the competition process and related events.

​

  • Any form of plagiarism, harassment, or inappropriate behavior toward judges, organizers, or other participants may result in removal from the competition.

​

  • The Purpose Over Pressureâ„¢ team reserves the right to disqualify any applicant who fails to follow submission guidelines or competition rules
